Perhaps this should go without saying but, you deserve to fully understand what you are paying for.
If you buy a Mars Bar, you know exactly what you’re getting inside.
That sweet chocolatey goodness. Delicious.
Enough about chocolate though, why am I telling you this?
Well, back in 2014, I discovered a trend where businesses had a tendency of paying energy bills, without having any idea of exactly what they were paying for.
Ambiguously worded contracts.
Though no fault of their own businesses would simply bury their heads in the sand, and pay over and above for their business energy, without having any true oversight of their expenditure.
Madness, utter madness.
From witnessing the same pattern happen over and over again amongst SME’s, I knew I wanted to make a change.
And I did.
I set out on my exciting adventure, and created Outsourced Utilities.
Now, as we celebrate our 5th birthday, I truly believe we have made a difference.
- A difference to the way people think about their energy deals.
- A difference to the way energy brokers should operate.
- A difference to businesses all across the country.
We not only go above and beyond to find a great energy deal for every single one of our customers, but we also look after them every step of the way. For 5 years, we have been just a phone call away for all of our loyal customers.
No complicated terminology, fluctuating prices or nasty hidden fees; we only work on the premise of being transparent and open.
So far my goals have been achieved and I’ve loved every second of it.
But, as a business we cannot rest here. We have a lot more work to do, improvements to make, and even more customers than ever to help!
Over the next 12 months we will be updating our brand, enhancing our partner channel and introducing a new energy management platform to help our customers have even more transparency over their energy costs and consumption – we have some exciting times ahead for sure!
I want to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to all of our fantastic customers, partners, employees and suppliers for the trust and loyalty you have shown in us. Without you none of this would have been possible. So here is to the next 5 years, our goal is clear; to keep on improving the ‘business energy experience’.
